Anton Tiktak filmt en fotografeert cultureel en immaterieel erfgoed in de drie noordelijke provincies en in Oost-Friesland. Fotografieprojecten als de ‘Collectie Groningen’, de ‘Groninger Borgen’ en films als ‘Wiede Leegte mit Daipte’ en ‘Stilte na de Storm (Stille nach dem Sturm)’ zijn opgenomen in het Oldambt en in het Groningse Reiderland en het Oost-Friese Rheiderland. In Westerwolde waren dat ‘Historia Oppidi Weddani’ en ‘Help de Pitrussen komen’, De streektaal stond daarbij steeds centraal.
